Laser Hair Removal

What is it?

Our most effective treatment for permanent hair reduction. Pulses of light targets and destroys hair follicles during the growth stage, ensuring long-lasting results.

Who is Laser Hair Removal for?

This treatment is for individuals who want smoother skin with less maintenance, those prone to razor bumps or ingrown hairs, and anyone looking for a long-term solution to unwanted hair. It’s an excellent option for reducing hair growth on areas like the face, legs, underarms, and bikini line.

However, laser hair removal is not effective for individuals with gray, white, or blonde hair, as the laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle. Those with very light hair may not achieve the desired results.

How many treatments will I need?

We suggest 6-8 treatments to start and to book them 4-5 weeks apart.

Is there any preparation required?

Always come clean shaved. Stick to only shaving for at least 4 weeks prior to your laser appt, and for the entirety of your treatments. The root of the hair follicle must be in tact for laser to work properly.

Anything else I need to know?

Avoid excessive tanning during your treatments. Laser attracts to melanin, and when extra melanin is present that is not your natural skin color, your safety could be at risk. This included spray tans, tanning beds, and at home tanning creams.

Some antibiotics cause photosensitivity, which makes your skin more sensitive to laser and can cause burning/irritation.

Please talk to your doctor if you need to go on antibiotics during your laser treatments. This also goes for any medication which could cause blood thinning.

Avoid products containing AHAs / BHAs / glycolic, salicylic acid, etc while treating the face, for at least 7 days prior to your laser sessions. Accutane users, please wait 6 months after stopping it to start laser treatments on the face.
